Today Jack is 1 week and 6 days old
Size:
At his last weigh in Jack was a tiny 6lb 13oz. Almost back to birth weight!
Appearance:
Starting to look more like an individual. Very expressive face & big blue eyes. I hope his eyes stay as beautiful as they are today!
Milestones:
• Jack can lift his head and hold head at 45 degree angle so far.

• Coming home from hospital!
• Umbilical cord came off (3 days old!) Mummy kept it and Daddy wasn't too pleased!
• Peed on Mummy during a nappy change!
Things we did this week:
This week we:
• Met all of the family & some friends
• Jack had his first bath
• Jack had his first trip to the post office in his pram
• Mummy & Daddy took Jack to the park for the first time!
• First long(ish) car journey up to Nana's house.

Best thing this week:
Being at home and finally being able to meet family & friends!
Mummy's thoughts & diary:
So glad we are home, still under the care of the midwives, looking forward to being discharged but equally sad that we will not be seeing them anymore!
Absolutely tired, loving Oliver being home to help with the baby. Getting a good routine with bottles, expressing & feeding. Glad Jack is still getting the majority of nutrition from me despite having formula top ups. Feeling sad at times that I can't feed him myself, may ask breastfeeding team to come back & help.
