Things we did this week:
Monday started with a long long walk. We went to the park with a little friend and watched as his friend enjoyed his first time on a swing. In the afternoon we met up with the bestie and ended up going to a different park. We truly didn't go far from home today but we ended up walking 10 miles!

Another park, another swing! :-)

Tuesday we met the bestie for lunch and went to the pub. The boys were chatting like 2 old men. It was so funny. We went to the clinic for our 9 month check today. The health visitor was very happy with Jack and said he was "developing beautifully" this made me happy and there were no concerns at all :-)

Da-da-da-da-da-da-da!

Wednesday started off with a very messy breakfast, an outing to Jolly Babies (yes I had Bubbles the teddy bear the entire time while Jack sat with the person that runs it!) We then went to the shopping centre and for lunch with the bestie. Lovely day!

Messiest Breakfast ever! Weetabix everywhere!

Thursday was a trip to my Mum's again as we took Daddy's car for an MOT. We found a soft play there. Of course I couldn't resist this...

Yay I finally found the letters! Woo!
Friday we went to Soft Play again but with three of Jack's friends! One of them was off having lunch but we tried to get a photo. It wasn't easy but this was the three of them having a play.
Photos are impossible!

Jack also turned 10 months today! TEN whole months since he was born! I can't even believe it!!!!
10 months old today!

Saturday we went to visit Great Nana as I was meeting some friends on Saturday afternoon! Jack had a lovely visit from my cousin Amelia too and she helped give him lunch.

This is the way the ladies ride... clip clop clip clop

This is the way the farmers ride... hoppity hoy hoppity hoy!

Amelia and Jack

Sunday we had a day at home, it was really nice we all had a snuggle and Jack fell asleep on us both :-) sooooo lovely!

Cuddles!

Best thing this week:
The best thing this week was having the 9 month check and knowing that Jack is doing brilliantly! :-)

Mummy's thoughts and diary:
The weeks are flying by too quickly! Having such a nice time at the moment, and it is so nice that he is learning every day.

Things we did this week:
The curse of measles week has been lifted. We escaped it. AMAZING. Clever boy!

Monday as we could go out, we did. So we went to visit my Nana in the morning, we showed her Jack's new clapping trick! Then we came home and when Daddy got home from work we went for a nice little walk to the park and went on the swings as the sun set. It was lovely.

Park with Mummy & Daddy :-)

Tuesday was weigh day for Jack. So we took the boys to clinic and then went for a walk and came back to our house to play. Jack must have really missed his bestie the last week as he was very keen to cuddle him... so sweet.

Hugs for Ethan

Wednesday we went to Jolly Babies - this is getting hard work! Jack kept running away from me and then ended up on the lady that runs it lap! I had to use her teddy bear "Bubbles" thanks Jack!!!

Cheeky Boy!

Afterwards we took the boys to soft play! Yes it has been a while!
Busy at soft play with Ethan!

Thursday was a busy day! We met my old boss for a coffee and then I headed to my old work as Oliver's boss was having a retirement party. It was nice to go to that and Jack got passed around a lot. He seemed to have a nice time and got so tired. When we got home we went for a walk and played on the swings again. We also tried the wobbly things...
Hold on tight!

Friday was fun - the bestie's mum picked us up and she drove us up to my Mum's house. We went to baby gym and the base and had lunch. Today was the day Jack perfected the wave. Love it!

At baby gym again!

Saturday we went back to my Mum's as we were meeting my bestie there with her baby! I can't believe how much her baby has changed, time flies too quickly. We had the best day with her and even managed a little walk together in the sunshine. We had a lovely lunch and it was just so nice. I am so happy we are back in touch :-)

Love watching these grow!

Sunday was a lovely day too as we took Jack to the zoo together. We got some amazing pictures and we had a nice lunch on the bench. It then got cold and we went to Nanny's house for the afternoon!

Mummy's thoughts and diary:

Cannot believe how fast time is going now. I am going to be going back to work sooner than I know :-( Although i will be forever grateful to have spent every waking moment (and lots of moments I should have been sleeping!) with my baby boy!

Love!

WOOHOO! Such a clever clapping boy! YAY!

Things we did this week:
This week shall be named "Measles Week"

This week was the biggest waste of a week ever! *Cabin Fever alert!*

Monday: Crusty nose. Tears. Naps. No temperature. No Rash. OK, so we did go for a little walk to get some supplies, but other than that it was a lazy day of entertaining Jack in the house as the risk of this cold turning into measles is high.

Presents for Daddy!

Sad baby... and sad Mummy :-(

Tuesday: A bad night. Night feed. Night playtime. Crusty nose. Tears. Naps. No Temp. No Rash. Did go for a little walk. Missing the bestie, missing soft play, missing the outside world.

Oh, Hi 3am

Wednesday: Worst day of all... rain rain rain = no walk. Nose still crusty... no rash, no temp.. getting hopeful that this is actually not going to happen!

Stuck in the house! :-(

Thursday: Couldn't take it any longer - had to get out. Went for a long walk as it was lovely and sunny! Met the bestie and made sure not to touch or get near at all. Was so good to see them, missed them so much! In the evening stole chips from Daddy!

Stealing Daddy's Chips!

Friday: started off too early - apparently we don't sleep any more! The night feeds are back - all week.

So awake at 3am... again!

Today my Nana came over to look after Jack and I went off to get my hair done. We then went for a walk around the park together and that was nice. Hair was a disaster had to go back. Not loving this week!

Cuddles for Great Nana
Saturday: Woke up to snow! What the! Jack stole my breakfast! His cold is suddenly a lot better! Yay! Oliver's mum came over for Mother's Day dinner. It was a nice day.

Merry Easter?!

Sunday: My first Mother's Day. Jack delivered my card and it was so cute. We went to meet SuzyNan (my friend) and we did a run together. My first run & medal since Jack was born. Didn't think I'd ever run again, so I was very happy. Enjoyed the day and did it in a respectable time for me too :-)

First run since Jack was born!

Bringing home the bling! Woop Woop!

Mother's Day Delivery! :-)

Best thing this week:
My first Mother's Day :-) and Jack learning to clap on Mother's Day after a week of me teaching him. Next week... waving!

Mummy's thoughts and diary:

Measles week was the worst. Being stuck in the house was awful, it made me appreciate the outside world a lot more! I think we will be out every day next week! Day 14 and the cold has improved and almost gone! No temperature, no rash... it looks like we escaped measles. Wow!

Things we did this week:
This week started off with a nice quiet day at home. I was feeling a bit drained but decided to get out and get some fresh air. We went for a nice little walk and stopped off at the swings. Haven't stopped here since Jack was very small and we tried the swings so this was fun. He absolutely loved every minute of the swings, was kicking his legs and laughing. It was such a lovely moment.

Jack was squealing! He LOVED this!

Me & Jack 22.02.16

Tuesday was a trip up to Mums. Totally making the most of her time off sick and going up there on random days. We had to pop to her work to drop off her sick note and we actually bumped into Louis Smith. I made Mum ask him for a photo - Jack enjoyed his beard... hehe.

Not too impressed there!

Crawling out the door!
Wednesday we went for a walk in the morning with a friend and then headed to Jolly babies. In the afternoon we went for a little walk with the bestie and then he came back to our house to play. The boys went in the ball pit together and it was super cute. It was today I got a phone call to say that Jack was exposed to measles on Sunday. This means I have to be on super high alert for any symptoms tha could be measles and keep Jack away from any other kids his age (unimmunised) as they are too young. Fingers crossed for no measles.

Baby Jail in action!

Thursday - we went for a shopping trip. We went with the bestie and went to the park. It was way too cold to get out of the pushchair so we hot footed it to a coffee shop. Then we went to some of the shops and then went to lunch. The boys got a little sticker pack so we had some fun with that! hehehe.

Boys coffee date!

Jack with a moustache!

Friday we went back to my Mum's for the day as I fancied taking Jack to baby gym as it has been a while. He liked the tunnel today! So cute!

Loving the tunnel!

Saturday was a day at home for Jack. I went to meet another baby friend but didn't take him due to the whole measles risk. Then his Nanny (Oliver's Mum) came over for a visit! We took Jack to the park for another day on the swings and came back home and they played in the ball pit together :-)

Love the swings too much :-)

Nanny Jail??

Sunday was a quick visit to my Nan's and then home. Jack has started to get a cold.... :-(

Starting to feel miserable!

Best thing this week:

The best thing this week was the trip to baby gym. He seemed to enjoy that one!

Have finger, will point!

Mummy's thoughts and diary:

Perhaps I should keep my thoughts to myself this week. I am cross that Jack was exposed to measles and I am cross that he has now got a cold, which could be a sign of measles. This time next week we will know. Please let him be ok.
