Week 33

Week Thirty-Three!

How far along?
33 weeks and 6 days pregnant today!

How big is the baby? (info for weeks 33-36) 
Baby is now the size of a Honeydew (Melon) Oh My!!!!!

Weight approx: 4.2 - 5.8lbs

Length (Crown to Heel): 43-47cm

Maternity Clothes?
I am still in the same clothes as last week. Haven't touched the maternity jeans at all though! Hopefully they will still fit me but at this present moment in time I have not needed them as I have not left the house!

Sleep?

Sleep is fast becoming a thing of the past. Find it awful to settle, and the heartburn has been driving me insane. If it's not the heartburn it's the pain. Cannot win!

Best moment this week?

Best moment of this week! Well there has been a few! So a mini fun thing this week was sorting out some of the little person's clothes! I washed them and got to hang them on the line. They smelled

divine!

Seeing Tara and Sue again, having Tara for the weekend & having my baby shower!!! That was so much fun! (see post here!)

Symptoms?

My pelvic pain has been less severe this week and I find I can get about the house with less pain! However if I try and do silly things like hoovering I am back to square one within 10 mins and have to sit down and endure burning pain for a while.

Heartburn has been on and off crap this week. It has also made me more pukey & I have noticed a return in the nausea, with lots of dry heaving happening at the slightest things! Oh the joys! I may have to give in and take something for the heartburn as some foods irritate it one day and not the next!

Food Cravings/Aversions?

Managed to keep my weight the same this week (until 3 days ago - but then the baby shower happened!) so I haven't actually gained any weight for 2 weeks. I am getting slightly frustrated at the fact that I cannot go for a nice walk to feel better and am very aware that I am sitting on the sofa. I must try and be healthier from now on, this weekend was a bit of a write off and of course there is still so much leftover food here! Arghhhhh!

What I'm looking forward to?
I am quite looking forward to making my birth plan! Hopefully the midwife will do this with me at my next appointment (34 week check).

Milestones? 
So I was supposed to pack my hospital bag this week, in all the excitement of visitors and such like I can admit I haven't completely done it, but I have started :-) So that will definitely be my job for the week.

Milestone to head for: 37 weeks... Full Term!
