Week 30

30 WEEKS! This just got real!

How far along?
30 weeks and 5 days pregnant!

How big is the baby? (info for weeks 29-32) 
Baby is now the size of a Winter Squash (That's PUMPKIN to us UK folk!) Ahhhh

Weight approx: 2.5-3.8lb

Length (Crown to Heel): 38-42cm

Without a doubt yes,

Sleep?

Sleep has not been too bad this week. Think I am just tired enough to sleep. Average waking up to pee is about 1 x a night. Not too bad. 

Best moment this week?

Meeting up with my friend who is also expecting and we had a nice catch up! The boys were there too!

Symptoms?

Well all was fine and dandy until after the meal on Wednesday. I stood up from the booth and had some pain down below. Thought nothing of it and we went home. The next morning I could hardly walk! Trying to get my shoes on for work was hard but I went anyway. I tested my Urine when I got there and it was clear with a trace of leucocytes. I called the midwife to ask her advice but she said it was normal and the baby could be in an odd position. Managed to find a computer and sit down and catch up with some paperwork for the day but it was pretty difficult as I had an emergency call and had to go to that, Then Friday I went to work hoping the pain would go away but it didn't, I rested as much as I could yesterday and then today have taken it easy. Not really sure what's going on or why it came so suddenly. Hoping it goes away. Really hoping it's not SPD! 5 weeks left of work, 3 weeks until my replacement starts to be trained. Dreading tomorrow but let's see how I go. Monday's are always a busy day.

Food Cravings/Aversions?

Absolutely peed off at myself and my eating. I am back on the wagon as of yesterday but of course we have heard that one before. I am pressuring myself so much that when I break I break hard. I hate this feeling but this last 10 weeks are going to be crucial. My BMI has already crept over the 35 mark and I am sure this weight is not helping with my intense pain!

No idea!

Belly button in or out?
Belly button watch... Still in... but shallower than usual!

What I miss?

Being able to walk with no pain!

What I'm looking forward to?

1) Easter (Next weekend!!!)
2) Baby Shower (3 weeks!!!)
3) MATERNITY LEAVE! (5 weeks!!!)

Milestones? 
WOOHOO! Have met the 30 week milestone!
Next milestone.... lets say week 33... I shall be packing my hospital bag!!!

Bump?
Bump has finally popped. No denying I'm pregnant now! It seems to have expanded a lot this week, got a lot harder and baby shaped. Here is the 4 week progress pic!!!
