Week 28

28 Weeks!!!

How far along?

Right now I am 28 weeks and 5 days pregnant!

How big is the baby? (info for weeks 25-28) 
Baby is now the size of a Papaya

Weight approx: 1.4-2.2lb 

Length (Crown to Heel): 34-37cm

Maternity Clothes?
Yep well in the maternity clothes now, however I am still wearing the same old same old. Work Uniform/PJ on the week days & Maternity jeans from Mothercare & Hoodies on the other days. Love how I have inherited my Husband's hoodie now :)

Sleep?

After a stressful week at work this week sleep has been ok, however I am finding that I am waking more and more in the night to pee, or finding it harder to settle. :-( I guess this is what I have to come!

Best moment this week?

Well today is Mother's Day, so knowing that this time next year I will be a Mummy is a lovely thought for this week. Nothing spectacularly good has happened this week and it has been pretty hectic at work so the best moment this week is the ending of it and the start of a fresh new week! (Depressing I know!)

Symptoms?

No symptoms to report aside from the fact that I am being kicked in unimaginable places and its not the most comfortable thing! And the feeling that baby really is on my bladder and its not very enjoyable at the moment! I have also suffered with bad swollen ankles but that is mostly my fault for not sitting down and relaxing enough. Gets worse by the end of the week!

Food Cravings/Aversions?

I have been really really good diet wise and managed to stick to my daily calories by balancing it out with walking on the treadmill.

Gender?

Hmmm well according to the heart rate theory it is now a boy. Last time it was a girl. So even baby is keeping the world guessing.

Belly button in or out?
Forever in!

What I miss?

I miss my ankles being a regular person size!

What I'm looking forward to?

Still looking forward to the baby shower :-)
Looking forward to 4 days off at Easter BIG TIME!

Milestones? 
30 weeks!

Bump?
To me bump is still quite small for where I am at in my pregnancy, however according to the midwife measurements its a little bigger than it's meant to be!
