A belated Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope you all did have a very merry and portion controlled Christmas!
My Christmas was a bit of a strange Christmas this year as I was working. I worked on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the 27th and 28th, so the festive season has been a bit of a whirlwind for me.
My first Christmas present came on Christmas Eve at my weigh in. I was very pleased to weigh in (post holiday!) at 10stone 8.4lbs, which took me to well, GOAL… and beyond goal! This meant that whilst on holiday I had lost 4.5lbs, which I was very pleased with. I have not switched to maintenance just yet. Much as I would have really enjoyed having the 6 extra points per day – especially over Christmas, I am not in any way ready to maintain, would still like to lose a bit more. So I remain on 26pp per day.
So on Christmas Eve I went to work, and then after work I went straight to my boyfriend’s parent’s house for Christmas celebrations. It is done like this every year as they are Hungarian and always celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve, which is very handy! Anyway after work I rushed back there, quickly got changed and sat down for dinner. Had plenty of veg and 4pp worth of turkey. Then we sat down and got to present opening. It was nice, I got some new workout DVDs and I got lots of pyjamas (my favourite!) and they were all size 12 which was nice to see, as last year was opening size 18/20 and knowing it wasn’t going to fit…
We stayed the night there and the next day I was up at 6am to go to work again. Had a bit of a stressful day at work and after the 13 hours was up I was truly ready to go home to bed. But I had Christmas number 2 to do! So I went straight from work to my Auntie & Uncles house where all my family had been celebrating all day. Again I had 4pp of turkey and some veg. Then more presents! Wheee! I got a sports watch (more about that next time) and a few tops… again size 12 and tried them on and one was too big! (woohoo)!
It was a very short Christmas and I am now enjoying a few days off to catch up! I am pleased that I have still managed to stick to my points and still never cheated ever!
363 days on the wagon! No way am I getting off :- )
X
