Today Jack is 10 weeks and 6 days!
We have hit double digits! How did he get to 10 weeks already!?
Size:
At weigh in this week Jack was 10lb 4oz. Not gained much this week (3oz)

| LOVE the birthmark |
Absolute gorgeous boy! Hair starting to get more coverage, birthmark still visible, still looking very much like Daddy!
Milestones:
• Reached double did hits in age in weeks!
• Attended his first wedding!
• First night in a hotel.
Things we did this week:
Well this week was extra special as Jack's Nana and Grandad (finally, after 24 years together) got married!!
The week started off like any other, with a lazy Monday. Baby group then on Tuesday and weigh in at clinic. Baby group was held at my house, which was actually lovely! We lined the babies up in age order! So much fun!

Wednesday was a day at home to pack and get organised for my Mum's wedding and two nights in a hotel with a baby! Eeek! In fact we sat watching TV most of the day as Jack was being clingy and I couldn't really do much packing until the extra pair of hands arrived home. Had the washing machine & tumble dryer on all day!
Thursday was the day we had all been waiting for!!! Had to get up fairly early to organise us all! Baths, showers and getting dressed up all happened, then we loaded up the car.

We then drove to Cambridge to the registry office and met the rest of the family in the pub opposite. I was desperate for Jack to sleep through the ceremony or at least not to be crying (though I think we have turned a corner with this growth spurt now) so I was pleased when he woke up and wanted feeding.
I fed him in the pub and got him settled. We went over to the registry office and waited for the wedding to begin! Luckily at this time Oliver managed to get Jack to sleep and woohoo he stayed asleep on him for the whole thing!
It was a lovely little ceremony and I was honoured to act as the witness for the groom, my Mum's husband and my now official StepDad! We were only a small, informal gathering & got the registrar to take a pic of us all. My Mum, the Bride so proudly held Jack for the photo. It was a lovely moment.

We then went for a meal in a lovely pub and had a lovely evening with the family. Jack was enjoying being carried around by his older cousins and fussed over by everyone.

We then went to the local Premier Inn and Jack had his first night in a hotel!

The next day was the day of the party! I had arranged a few surprises for my Mum and she had no idea even what colours were the theme! I was most proud of my cupcakes that I arranged!

Once we had set up the hall we checked into the hotel room for the night there. It was a very posh room in a posh hotel, the bed was enormous! Sadly was a rubbish night as the rooms were not soundproofed!

The party was lovely, everyone wanted to see the baby, however I was mostly shut away breastfeeding... All... Night... Long!
Saturday we spent the day with his baby cousins who are 2 and 4 and it was interesting to see what I have in store!
Today we went to a friend's baby shower... Didn't even bother ordering food as I have learned it's not worth it! Was a lovely end to a busy week!
Best thing this week:
Has to be... The wedding!!
