NHS 111

Well today I had a worry.

15 weeks and 5 days and I had like the tiniest bit of blood you could ever imagine.

But if you know me... I am the biggest worrier you could know. I worry about worrying.

So I tried not to worry. But when I popped to the loo again and there was another tiny spot, I mentioned it to Oliver. I also mentioned it to my pregnachum and both of them said the same thing to me.

Call NHS 111

I resisted for so long, but they both knew that I would not sleep (it was about 10:30pm on a Sunday night) and would worry and that I need to make sure I am seeking help when I need it. So I did. I called NHS 111.

Ps. NEVER GOOGLE ANYTHING WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!!!!!

The lady on the phone was very nice but said that I was to wait for a call back from a Doctor.
I was super tired and just so hoping that they would not want me to go and be examined and that they would call back quickly and tell me not to worry.

About 15min later a GP called me back.

She asked me a million questions and told me not to worry. She said to monitor any bleeding and if it was filling a sanitary pad and I was in a lot of pain then I should call back.

Of course these 2 tiny drops of blood were so small that a normal human being probably would not have noticed. I realised I was definitely being stupid but had also been safe and went to sleep knowing me and baby were fine.

But I was very glad to have had the reassuring phone call.

Then I went back to worrying....
