Hello Weight Watchers!
How have you all been? Well sorry I have been missing from the blog scene for a little while, I have had nothing nice to say so I chose to say nothing!
The past couple of weeks have been a bit odd for me really. In all honesty I have messed around with my hormones by changing pills and I went from my usual self, which isn't a particularly upbeat persona but I guess you could say, averagely happy human being to a complete and utter she-devil.
I never really thought that changing pills could do this to me, but it really did. I mean I have never known myself to be so moody, horrible, uncaring, selfish and so negative. I have been on the pill I changed to before so did not expect any of this to happen. I was becoming unbearable to work with, to live with and even tolerating myself was becoming hard work. I just wanted to be alone and I wanted to eat. Yes! I wanted to EAT!
But I didn't.
C'mon people... you didn't think I'd let my emotions get in the way of my eating now did you!? Hehe...
Anyway, once I had tracked back and realised my mood issues began right about 1 week after I changed my pill - I marched myself back to the clinic last Friday and begged to be changed back again. I wasn't interested in trying out anything new - just wanted my old life back! (I'd changed in the first place as I've noticed my hair thinning slightly! - not got any worse so decided it's fine!)
So, Friday I went back on my normal pill and I have begun to feel the weight lifting off my shoulders... I have become a nicer person (slightly) again and I am feeling so much better. Life was looking grim and dark and I was wishing horrible things on myself! :-/ I don't want to go there again! I was even thinking of leaving my poor bf! I shouldn't put him through this stuff :-(
Last week at WI on Saturday I gained 3lbs! Great I thought, kick me when I am down body! But after all of the hormonal switching I guess I only have myself to blame. But I did not go over my points or cheat myself. Although I did eat my emergency weeklies (I save 5 a week, just in case!) and I was annoyed I used them. But that is what they are there for!
I have been slightly relaxed on the exercise front this week as I have been off work and been on a couple of day trips with my bf and have been using "walking" to get my AP! However a long hard sesh with Jillian last night was good.
Am hoping that my 3lb "kick me while I was down" gain will be gone & more this week. I'd quite like to make it to 9st 10lbs so I can make the switch to MAINTENANCE! I feel I am ready now.
I've done it. The hard work will really begin!
Thanks to all of you that have put up with my moaning this past couple of weeks. YOU know who you are ;-) MWAH XXXXXXX
