So today was week 40!
I finally had a good loss of 2.6lbs! Hurrah!
Haven't run as much this week. My hip has been giving me some trouble. I tried running a couple of days ago but between the hip and a stitch I had to stop! I was really very disappointed in myself, but really have not been feeling 100% this week.
I did however end up earning myself 40 Activity points. I have also had a busy week at work and started a course at University! I went to Uni for the morning on Wednesday to enrol and was all geared up for a 2.5 hour workout when I got home. I was then meeting my cousin in London for the evening. Anyway, after having a flu jab on the Tuesday I was feeling a bit icky on Wednesday and by the time I had got home from Uni, I was totally exhausted so my 2.5 hour workout turned into a 2.5 hour nap!!!
When I woke up there was no time to exercise so I thought I'd missed a day (not good for my mood - I hate missing days!) anyway I went and met my cousin in London (she has recently moved there) and we went for a nice hour or so walk, just chatting and thinking of things to do. So when her friend showed up - he decided we should go Boris Biking! So we did! It was fun, cheap and without knowing it, they helped me not miss out on my exercise. I think I earned myself 7 AP that evening from the walking/cycling. So that was good :-)
I am also still ploughing through Jillian's 6 week 6 pack at level 2. I am on Week 5 Day 2, which I completed today. I must admit of all her DVDs that I have done - this is by far the hardest. I hate doing it, I hate the exercises in it, but I love the results.
Really looking forward to starting Jillian's Ripped in 30... a kind of follow on from the 30 Day Shred. However I hear this one is pretty hard. I will blog it all.
Had a lovely day with the family today - even my little cousin's commented on my weight loss - love it when the kids say stuff because they tell the truth! I weighed a couple of my cousins today and my 10 year old cousin weighs 4st 3.5lbs. So I have lost her and my cat put together. My 11 year old cousin weighs 6 stone exactly - so she will be gone when I reach my goal. That would be an amazing thing to say.
12 more weigh in's to go... and 11.2lbs to lose til goal.
Although..... I will probably lower my goal weight when I get there. But let's see how I look/feel then! :-)
