Hello!
Well at my weigh in last Saturday - I lost 2.2lbs - bringing me into the mighty 11's!!!!!
How does it feel? It feels weird. I could barely imagine being 11 stone something, and now that I am, I don't know how to feel. My body may be changing, people may be noticing, but I don't feel much different. Some days I feel great, amazing, wow. I look at some clothes and think that will never fit me, and it does. I don't see why!
The other day I replaced all of my workout gear into size 12's! I could hardly believe it fitted. In fact I still can't believe it. I want to believe it, I know it fits, but I still see the bulgy old fat me.
I don't know why. I think my mind needs to adjust. I hear it can take some time for your mind to adjust to what your body is doing. I hear that this is why having gastric bypass really isn't the answer as your body changes so quickly but you do not see it like others do. Which leads to a lifetime of denial and you remain unhappy because you don't realise how you are changing. It is a quick fix for the body but losing weight is more than about your body.
I hope my mind catches up quickly. I am seeing the numbers drop, the sizes drop, but my fat remains. Don't get me wrong - I am proud of myself, I am impressed at what I have achieved. When I look at comparison pics I see the difference! My arms are so much smaller... but they do still feel like the same old arms.
I'm sure I'll be feeling amazing soon, especially when I see those numbers at goal. I mean I only have 14. 6lbs to go until goal! Although when I really look/think about it, I do wonder how much difference those 14.6lbs will make. I don't think I'll have the body I desire! If only those bulging hips would go the hell away!!!!
Anyway, I have finally finished week three of the six week six pack dvd by the wonderful Jillian Michaels. So now I get to start week four which means level 2! Woop woop! Although I am actually not going to be doing this until Thursday. Even though I should not have missed a day! I am actually going to my Mum's today and staying the night. She is taking me to her gym... I have not stepped foot inside one since doing all of this - so I will get a chance to see how I go on the treadmill and other machines no doubt! Then tomorrow morning we are going on a run around her local village! So I am really looking forward to it.
Thanks to everyone reading... Sorry it was a bit of a strange one!
