Today Jack is 38 weeks and 6 days old. Today is also Valentine's Day!

No massive changes this week :-)

Has learned how to turn the TV on and off (and on and off and on and off and on and off)!

Things we did this week:
Daddy was off this week so we had a fun filled week with Daddy!

Monday was not so fun as we went to visit the nursery that Jack will be going to when I return to work. We looked around and it was nice and we enrolled him. We then went to the place that I am going to work and said hello to my new boss. Then we went home and I made a baby friendly apple crumble. Jack was not impressed.

I think he is saying... Please don't make this again!

Tuesday was a bit more fun than the business day that we had yesterday. We went up to Jack's Nana's house (my Mum) and spent the day there. It was nice - we went to the american base and Jack sat in the trolley for the first time. He also met the doll that I got when I was 1 year old for my birthday. He didn't like that she didn't feel like a human & he shuddered when he touched her. Then, he ate her foot.

Never mind, eat her anyway!

Wednesday I took Jack to Jolly babies and from there we went to soft play with the bestie (we were missing him lots!) Daddy had a day off to... hoover :')

Thursday we both took Jack to the Zoo. It was a really lovely day, the sun came out and although it was a bit chilly it wasn't freezing. We finally got to try the soft play out at the zoo :-) I couldn't resist helping Jack spell out my name :-)

Friday we decided to go to the shops in the morning and visit my Uncle's shop. We went to Pizza Express for lunch and Jack tried his first bit of Pizza. He had a tiny bit of Oliver's pizza and he loved it (despite the face!) In the afternoon we took Daddy to soft play as he has never been to that one and Jack wanted to show him round. Of course they both had a great time and Jack was SO happy and enjoyed being chased by his Dad so much. It was so nice to see.

Saturday we had a day at home....

Sunday was Valentines Day! We took Jack to his Great Nana's house. His Nana was there too and well... we left him there for the day. This was the first time we left him and we went for a lunchtime meal together. It was really nice. I was feeling ok that Jack was ok and I was doing ok too... so we called in and then left again to go to the cinema. Jack had a lovely time with his Nana's and we had a lovely time too! Before we left some firemen randomly came to check the smoke alarms... of course we had a photo opportunity!
