The First Year: Week 37

37 weeks today!

Age:

Today Jack is 37 weeks and 6 days old! (this is also how long he spent in the womb!)


Size:
No weight or measurement this week. Currently in some 9-12 stuff! Scary!

Appearance:
Gorgeous as ever, hair getting slightly thicker and longer and curly! Two bottom teeth coming through nicely.

Milestones:
No major milestones or firsts this week!

Things we did this week:
This week started with soft play! We went there with a few friends and it was nice. Jack was very happy! Then we went for a walk with one of his friends and tried to go and see his midwife at the swimming pool but she was on holiday!

Tuesday we went to the zoo with the bestie. Got the cutest photos of the boys! It was super cold there but we did have a lovely day! It was so good to spend the day there with the bestie :-)

Wednesday was jolly babies! Jack was super active there today and he was really crawling away and into everything! He attacked the bubble machine at the end and absolutely had the time of his life in there! Bubbles in his face!

Thursday was another trip to soft play with the bestie! I am loving taking him here at the moment as he sleeps through after it every time! Hehe,,, today we had lunch there together too. SO CUTE!

Friday morning I ventured to the shopping centre and met up with a couple of old colleagues for a coffee. It was a nice morning but obv we were missing the bestie. We decided to go to.... yep you guessed it... SOFT PLAY! Woohoo!

Saturday was a trip up to Lincolnshire to see my bestie! She has grown so much and it was so good to see her. Jack was a good boy! My Nana came too and we had a lovely lunch there. So good to see them again.

Sunday was a day at home, until we got invited to the bestie's cousin's party! Felt a bit naughty going, but it was a great opportunity for the Dads to get together and bond a bit too. It was at a different soft play. Was rather annoying and very busy and there were some wild children there. Jack enjoyed the ball pit again!

Best thing this week:
The best thing this week was absolutely seeing my best friend. I actually can't believe we both have babies!

Mummy's thoughts and diary:
Loving soft play a bit too much this week, but it makes Jack sleep through and it also gives him the chance to roam around freely with not too much of me saying NO!

There's been a lot of mischief this week, he's very interested in everything and anything. Getting more confident on his feet, tries to stand up all of the time :-)
