It was my cousin's birthday so we were planning to go round to her house to give her cards & presents etc...
So, on the way I asked Mum and Nan if we could pop to mothercare to look at the maternity clothes as I had been given a voucher to spend. They both agreed it would be fine and off we went to mothercare.
I totally braced myself on the way in for a world of pregnant people, screaming children, mess & hustle bustle. I was not wrong. It was a little worse than I anticipated but I was just thankful that Oliver wasn't with me. Haha. So, as we walked in I was amazed at how big this mothercare was. There was a maternity clothing section, kids clothing section, loads of baby gadgets and cots and pushchairs and an early learning centre. I was well impressed. We had a quick mooch around and saw the most beautiful pushchair and car seat/travel system extravaganza. I was fixated on it. It had to be MINE!I called Mum and Nan over and they both stared at it. We all loved it. There was a niggling feeling in my brain that I basically had to have this now or else. But then again I hadn't had my 20 week scan yet and according to a few people at work it was "bad luck" to buy things before the 20 week scan.
With all that in mind we looked at the price.... £500 never mind! Who knew I had expensive taste. Reduced to £250. Mum said she'd pay £100. And SOLD. OMG... I had bought a travel system. We got the lady to do a demonstration just to make sure. It would cater from newborn to 2/3 and the car seat was demonstrated too - how to secure it etc...

I was in love.
We got it all and put it all in the car. Only just fit but we managed :-)
This is getting real now!!!!
