Hello 2012!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Isn’t it lovely – the beginning of a brand new year. A new year full of new opportunities, new hopes, new dreams, new wishes and new beginnings. This time last year I was beginning my journey to goal, and now that I am at goal, I have a whole new batch of challenges to face!
I had the most fantastic time at my New Year’s Eve party last night! I went to my Uncle’s house and I was the life and soul of the party. Thanks to my cousin and his friend I managed to earn myself 6 activity points last night from dancing the night away. I cannot believe how much I danced and sang and my Mum said she had never seen me so happy and confident. My younger cousin kept asking me how much I had to drink – I replied with only one pepsi max! It was a fab night! SO much fun!
Although I have reached my official goal weight, I would like to lose some more weight this year as I am still not comfortable in my own skin. I know that may sound silly but I always said I’d see how I feel when I get to “goal” and I still don’t feel done. I will see how I feel when I get down to 9 stone 12.2lbs, that is my new goal to aim for before re-evaluating my situation. I must admit – I am definitely looking forward to going onto my tracker and switch from “losing” to “maintenance”. Can’t wait!
I am also switching trainer this year! Last year I was working with Jillian Michaels – the female trainer from the Biggest Loser USA. This year is the year of Bob. That’s Bob Harper – the male trainer from the Biggest Loser USA. I got all of his DVDs for Christmas and have already started them. It was really very very hard and he is very very tough so I am looking forward to losing the last bit with him and toning with him. In the past week I have been going to the gym for an hour of running and cycling and then coming home and having an hour with Bob. This gives me a 1,000 calorie burn! Fantastic! So watch this space! I’ll be blogging my progress with Bob.
I fully intend to remain dedicated to my weight watching and I am still stuck onto that wagon. Today I went into London with the family to meet some distant relatives for a Chinese. Now although Chinese is a food I would never touch – I went along as I wanted to see my relatives. They all had a massive Chinese and not one bit of it passed my lips! I treated myself to a Leggera pizza from Pizza Express on the way home though! Yum! What would I do without pizza express eh!?!
Anyway, I would just like to say, thank you to all of my readers, I really love the support I get here. I hope you all have a happy, healthy and successful new year.
If I can do it. So can you!
xxx
