31 weeks today!
Age: Today Jack is 31 weeks and 6 days old.
Size: Jack is getting to be a big big boy! I can't quite believe how much he is growing and how heavy he is! He is due a weigh in next week but will be missing it because the clinic is closed! Comfortably in 6-9 month clothes!
Appearance:
Getting more hairy and more beautiful as the days go by!

Things we did this week:
This week started with a nice day in, we didn't do anything and it was lovely. We took some pictures, had some lunch and had some fun indoors!

1st Christmas!
Tuesday was a trip to my Nan's to visit. The family came over to see him and it was nice as he saw one of my cousins that has been away for 4 months!

Looking so grown up today!
Wednesday was the day before Christmas Eve so I had to prep the house ready for Christmas day! My friend Hayley came over and she helped look after Jack and arrange the room so I can fit 13 guests in!
Thursday was Christmas Eve! It really doesn't feel like Christmas. We went to Oliver's Mum on Christmas Eve as it's a tradition from Hungary to celebrate the whole of Christmas on Christmas Eve. Before we went we laid out a plate for Santa - a tradition I'd like to do every year! When we arrived we had dinner, presents and played games with Oliver's family. Jack really enjoyed himself and opened lots of presents! He squealed at the presents and had a great time. Unfortunately I think I've upset his tummy with beans :( he didn't have a great day and went to the toilet lots. In fact it was the same yesterday too. He's getting sore which made me really sad, but hopefully will clear up soon! For that reason I reduced the risk and decided to give him plain bland food, so he didn't get his first christmas dinner :( He had a late night and we headed home. Was a lovely day. Lots of pictures, here are some of my favourites.....

Mummy, Daddy & Baby, Christmas Eve 2016
Friday was Christmas Day and I was hosting! It was not easy but it was a lovely lovely day! I didn't have to go anywhere and Jack was settled at home. We had 13 of the family at dinner and Jack slept through most of the dinner. Unfortunately he was asleep on Oliver and so Oliver missed most of dinner too, It was a really nice dinner! Then the presents were done and it was nice. Then the family left to go to other family and I cleared up and played with Jack. Mum and I settled down to watch Eastenders Christmas Special (has to be done!) and then they went home and we headed to bed. His tummy was bad again today :( christmas dinner next year for him!
Saturday was Boxing Day and we headed for another family day at my Nan's house to see all of the family that we didn't see yesterday. We had more food, more games and it was another nice day. Still doesn't feel like Christmas, it has been very mild - it must be that!

A very busy week has ended and I can't believe Christmas is over. This time next week will be 2016! Unbelievable... I'm sure it was May only a couple of weeks ago....
Best thing this week:
Christmas!
Mummy's thoughts and diary:
Jack's first Christmas is over! He didn't really know much of what was going on but I was pleased how it went. I was happy I managed to get a plate for Santa and start the tradition on his first Christmas. I hope this is something we can now do for the rest of his childhood!
It was a lovely Christmas but it was very busy and there were a lot of times that Jack was too stimulated so it made it hard for him to settle. That was hard but it all went better than I thought it would.
Poor baby has got a sore bottom from lots of pooping. Not thrilled about that. Fingers crossed this doesn't go on too long. Teeth must be on their way!
Until next year! <3
Until next year! <3
