The Santa Dash 2012

My final event of 2012 came in the form of the Santa Dash.

It took place on 09 December 2012 and was my 8th event of the year! 

It was only a little one (4km) and was lovely to do as got to dress up as Santa, get in the festive spirit and finish off the year of events with a fun run!

I did this one with my sister in law to be and she was so good. She is only 15 and has recently started running with me along the canal. So when I begged and pleaded with her to do this with me, she said ok! Was very surprised. (Refer back to Hungarian adventure!) Haha.

I really struggled on this run! It was rather hard as I hadn't run for a couple of weeks and it was quite a crisp and cold and it went straight to my chest. But anyway, got round, had a good time and added to my medal collection!

This last race of the year bought my total kilometre count to 112km run/walked this year for charity! Although the last few months have been very up and down for me... I am proud of this!!!
